Community Transportation Information & Collaboration
A draft blueprint for how TranspoFairfax project pages, community pages, category pages, and archive records can evolve into a searchable TAC database.
The Transportation Data Model defines the common fields that can be used to organize transportation projects consistently across TranspoFairfax. Today these fields appear as static web pages. Over time, they can become structured database records.

A consistent data model makes it easier to compare projects, track status, identify gaps, connect related efforts, and preserve project history over time. It also allows TranspoFairfax to grow from a static website into a structured transportation knowledge system.
The Transportation Advisory Collaboration Initiative depends on shared structure. The data model provides that structure by turning scattered transportation information into organized records that can be searched, updated, archived, and connected across communities and categories.
Future versions of TranspoFairfax may support searchable project dashboards, community maps, status reports, document libraries, update histories, and collaborative topic pages based on this data model.
