What Is TAC?

TAC stands for Transportation Advisory Collaboration. It is the planning concept behind the long-term evolution of TranspoFairfax.

The goal is to help residents, civic groups, agencies, public officials, and community leaders better understand transportation projects, preserve knowledge, and collaborate around transportation needs.

Why TAC Is Needed

• Transportation information is scattered across many agencies and documents.
• Projects often take years or decades to complete.
• Residents need plain-language summaries and context.
• Community knowledge can be lost as meetings, staff, and leadership change.
