A community transportation knowledge base for South Fairfax and surrounding communities.
TranspoFairfax is an independent community transportation information resource designed to organize transportation projects, corridors, agencies, funding sources, timelines, archives, and community concerns in one accessible place.
Transportation information is often scattered across agency websites, public meeting slides, PDFs, emails, civic discussions, and individual project pages. TranspoFairfax brings that information together so residents can better understand what is happening, why it matters, and how projects relate to one another.
TAC stands for Transportation Advisory Collaboration. It is the long-term vision for turning TranspoFairfax into a searchable transportation knowledge base, archive, collaboration platform, and future database.
The goal is to preserve institutional memory, improve public understanding, and make transportation information easier to find and use.
TranspoFairfax is not an official government website and does not replace official agency notices, public records, project pages, or reporting systems.
It is an independent community information resource intended to help organize, summarize, and connect transportation information.
The long-term vision is to create a durable public knowledge system for transportation in South Fairfax — one that helps residents, civic groups, agencies, public officials, and future community leaders understand not only what projects exist, but how they evolved, who is involved, how they are funded, and how they connect.
